SUBMIT a 1-2 minute recorded video (or link) showing us all your natural personality, music knowledge, area of most interest/expertise and explain why YOU think you are a perfect match for SONGMINE.

INCLUDE a short paragraph/bio with your name and contact info explaining why you think you are the right choice to help produce and be on SONGMINE regularly, as well as your graduation status and major. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A COMM MAJOR! Just be real and have a more than usual appreciation of the music SONGMINE PLAYS (and tell us why). SONGMINE genres include: Post-Punk, New Wave, 2nd Wave, Synth pop, Classic Alternative, Industrial, Goth, Shoe-Gaze, Punk, College Rock, Indie Rock, Glam, Brit-Pop, (a bit of) Metal, (a bit of) Rap, Adult Alternative, Downbeat, Breakbeat and derivatives thereof...or just good damn songs.
BY SUBMITTING AUDITION CLIPS, participants agree that KTEP may include your name, clips, likeness and submitted photographs and biography info within productions of content at KTEP (ktep.org/songmine) podcast AND/OR On Air on KTEP 88.5 fm.
FIRST ROUND will conclude with 5 finalist to be notified by Oct 18th. Those 5 finalists will have opportunity to appear on an episode of SONGMINE to show us your skills and talent.
2nd ROUND will be voted for by email via listeners and participant's "fans" as 25% of total score . Scores will be tallied along with scores of skills (25%), experience (25%) and hosting talents (25%) plus extra points for any applicable technical* abilities.
UP TO 3 WINNERS WILL BE REVEALED ON AIR on a subsequent episode of a SONGMINE radio. Winner(s) of this 2024-2025 SONGMINE season may appear on episodes of SONGMINE based on fulfilled duties and positive working relations.
SONG MINING EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY KTEP for the purposes of any SONGMINE project/content and content via KTEP productions and platforms.

NOTE: Any infraction of KTEP policy by those submitting and subsequent "winners" will forfeit any further association with KTEP and SONGMINE.
