Hearts of Space

An uninterrupted hour of Ambient, Space, and Contemplative music from around the world and across the centuries.

Hearts of Space is one of the longest-running and most popular music series on public radio. Produced and hosted by STEPHEN HILL with Associate Producer STEVE DAVIS, it launched nationally in January 1983 after ten years as a Bay Area late night program on KPFA-FM in Berkeley. The show has run on well over 400 stations in 34 years of national distribution and is still building extraordinarily loyal, long-term audiences, who commonly use addiction metaphors to describe their love for the music.
