Andrew Jara | The Empty Space

Indie Film "The Empty Space" directed by Andrew Jara, distributed by Bayview Entertainment.

Host Charles Horak welcomes Andrew Jara, El Paso native, filmmaker, director, writer, and editor. His latest film is “The Empty Space.” The film won second at the Horror Hotel Festival in Ohio, was a finalist at the Oaxaca FilmFest in Mexico, and “Best of Feature” at the 14th Sacramento Film Festival in Sacramento, California.

The film debuted at the historic Rio Grande Theatre in Las Cruces on May 21st of this year. The indie film deals with trauma and its emotional aftermath, leaving horror, sci-fi, and psychological thriller elements into its story. Yet, this amazing horror film had to go through the trials and tribulations of the Pandemic and other setbacks in order to finally debut at the Rio Grande Theatre, release its Blu-Ray edition, and be distributed by Bayview Entertainment.
