Host Charles Horak welcomes frequent contributor Carlos M. De La Torre to review the new highly-anticipated American epic Western crime drama film by Director Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Directed by Martin Scorsese, and starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone, Killers of the Flower Moon is an American epic Western crime drama film. Based on the 2017 non-fiction book by David Grann, the movie is set in 1920s Oklahoma. It focuses on a series of murders of the Osage Nation and relations after oil was produced on tribal land in the conflict between the tribal member and the whites who sought to gain their wealth.

Charles Horak didn't sleep much as a child, preferring instead to watch movies on late night TV. Not much has changed since then, except that he now shares his life-long passion for movies with others. Horak's association with On Film began in the summer of 2002 when he was interviewed by the show's originator, Cynthia Haines. In the summer of 2005, Horak took over for Haines as host of the show.
Sam Cassiano is a native Californian who spent his formative years in the Bay Area. An army brat, his family toured Germany and Japan before settling in El Paso in 1973. Initially a Communications Major at UTEP, a radio internship at KPAS-FM 94, the PASS launched his broadcasting career. He can be heard as the morning news anchor on KTEP during NPR's Morning Edition, and Friday evenings at 10 pm as the host of Friday Night Blues.
