POZ is the story of a young man in 2003 with leukemia who discovers that if he was HIV positive, his chemotherapy treatments would be covered by insurance. He meets an HIV positive lawyer and sets out to get infected.
The play examines the remarkable love which develops between these two men and the odd family of characters who surround them…each of whom is dealing with their own demons.
POZ will be performed at the El Paso Community College Transmountain Forum Theatre, June 9 through 18, 2023. Here to tell us about it is Ted Karber Jr.
