Gris Muñoz is a poet and storyteller. She is the author of the bilingual poetry and short-story collection, Coatlicue Girl, named a finalist for the John A. Robertson Award for Best First Book of Poetry by the Texas Institute of Letters.
Her poetry was highlighted by Juaritos Literario, a Juárez-based literary organization, which recorded and played her poetry continuously on Juárez ruteras (buses) and a Juarez radio station. Gris is currently commissioned to write the biography of acclaimed Los Angeles artist Fabian Debora.
