Tejano New Stages Play Reading Series

The Tejano New Stages Play Reading Series is based on the now defunct New Lines play reading series which was created and nurtured by Dr. Gifford Wingate at UTEP.

Tejano New Stages is a series of readings performed by current and former theater students who give of their time to encourage writers in our community. Some are short, some are longer, some are portions of a larger work, and we, the audience are given time at intermission and at the conclusion of the performance to make constructive comments about the plays.

Tejano New Stages will perform for two nights only, Friday and Saturday, August 1 and 2, 2025 at 6pm at the EPCC Transmountain Forum Theatre. Here to preview the show is Ted Karber.
