Cassius Casillas is the author of a children’s picture book titled Blue Bear and The Loose Thread. The book deals with the themes of mental health and community which parents hopefully will find useful when talking to their kids about how to handle difficult situations.
Cassius is hosting an event at the MACC on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 11am to 2pm. The event will feature book readings as well as non-profit organizations from across El Paso that are focused on family and early childhood development.
