Andres Payan Estrada is the Director and Senior Curator at the Stanlee and Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts at UTEP. Prior to this position, he was creative director and curator at Craft Contemporary in Los Angeles CA.
Andres has served as visiting art faculty at several universities and works in craft-based processes including clay, textiles and collage. He has shown in numerous exhibitions and is also the co-curator and co-founder of the Craft Contemporary’s clay biennial, which will be soon be making its way to El Paso.
