Publisher: Riverhead Books

Christine Yu is an award-winning journalist who works on the intersection of the sciences in sports as well as women’s athletics. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and her work includes writing for the Washington Post, Runner's World, along with other publications. Yu has been an athlete growing up and loves skiing, running, surfing, and yoga.

Over the past decade, there have been more women competing at a high level of sports, and are evolving around the world. Yu also discusses how the researchers are creating more inclusive studies to close the gender gap, as well as the ways women can increase and improve athletic performance, reduce injury, and stay healthy.
