National Dish: Around the World in Search of Food, History, and the Meaning of Home

Anya Von Bremzen is a culinary writer and is one of the most accomplished and successful food writers of her generation. She has won the James Beard Award three times, is a contributing editor at Travel + Leisure magazine, and is the author of five cookbooks. Bremzen’s work includes Fiesta, Paladares, The New Spanish Table, The Greatest Dishes: Around the World in 80 Recipes, and The Russian Cookbook.

Anya Von Brezmen explores six of the world’s most fascinating and iconic culinary cultures which include France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Japan, and Turkey. We all have ideas about which food from other countries is, which leads us to question where these ideas come from. Bremzen will go into detail about the art and the ideas behind these cultural cuisines around the world.
