The pandemic displaced more than 580 thousand people nationwide, and that includes 1 in every 30 children. Statistics for HUD show that on any given night up to 41 thousand people may experience homelessness.

The Reynolds Home has been providing shelter and services to displaced women and children for the last 32 years. On this edition of "The Weekend” we visit with Executive Director Dorothy Truax whose family established the home, and outreach coordinator Star Lucero Ortiz. They will talk about the home’s history and the services they provide.

Guests:
Dorothy Truax, Reynold’s Home Executive Director and Star Lucero Ortiz, Reynold’s Home Outreach Coordinator

Producer:
Vianey Alderete Contreras
