Jessica Figueroa-Meme explains Intimate Partner Violence Assistance at the VA

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and host Louie Saenz sits down with Jessica Figueroa-Meme from the El Paso VA Health Care System to learn more. The VA is increasing awareness of their Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program (IPV) to help soldiers, veterans and their families. IPV is any violent behavior between current or former intimate partners. These behaviors can be emotional, psychological, physical, or sexual. In this interview we learn about various situations that create issues between partners and the effects on children.
