Host Louie Saenz welcomes representatives of CARE (Campus Advocacy, Resources and Education), Arely Hernandez, and Alicia Chaidez, campus victims service providers. The program provides advocacy, and private and confidential services to any student impacted by violence whether on campus or off campus. Any student can come by to the department and speak to a Campus Advocate and they will not report their situation to Title IX or law enforcement.

Students usually do not want to increase attention to what has happened to them in terms of events that make them feel helpless and in danger. The privacy and confidentiality of the program gives students the initiative of going to the UTEP CARE office. They can feel supported while navigating their situation with a person who will provide them with the right resources in case they want to follow up with their case.

Host Louie Saenz welcomes Viviana Rubio and Athena Wolfe, executive director of Quetzalcoatl Temple. It is a non-profit organization registered with the federal government to grow medicinal plants, sesame seed oil, and alcohol fuel out of Buffalo Gourd. The organization's goal is to educate people on the use of native plants and the plants of the Maya and Naga Maya in order to master the art of curanderismo. Curanderismo is a form of traditional healing practice that originates from ancient Centro-American civilizations (Mayas, Olmecas, Toltecas, among others), where the purpose is to heal the body, mind, and spirit.
