Host Louie Saenz welcomes Haley Richardson and Dr. Heather Click Cuellar with the Alternative Certification program at UTEP. The Program is a pathway for those who have a Bachelor's Degree or higher to become certified to teach PreK — in Texas Public Schools.
UTEP’s Miner Teacher Residency Alternative Certification Program combines research-based approaches to curriculum planning, classroom management, and effective instruction with intensive coaching and hands-on practice in classrooms – all toward the goal of preparing the highest-quality teachers to successfully serve all students.
