Richard Zanuck: 'Chocolate Factory' and Beyond

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, based on Roald Dahl's classic children's book of the same name, opens July 15.

It's the latest film produced by Richard Zanuck, son of legendary Hollywood kingpin Daryl Zanuck.

The younger Zanuck's own 40-year-long career has included a dizzyingly wide range of movies. He has produced a string of hits that includes Jaws -- the first official "summer blockbuster" film, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

Richard Zanuck joins Talk of the Nation to discuss his prolific career and trends in contemporary Hollywood.
