Power and Piety: Spanish Colonial Art will be on display at the El Paso Museum of Art beginning Tuesday, February 8th. The show illuminates the overlap and tension between social power and religion in the Americas through nearly sixty extravagant works of religious art commissioned for cathedrals and homes.
