Cinco de Mayo: A Day of Struggle Against Imperialism in 1862 and 2026.

El Chuco Habla is inviting concerned people in the region to stand up against the Trump administration's incessant calls for military intervention in Mexico. The United States has organized a military coalition of right-wing Latin American governments called Shield of the Americas that has designated Mexico as the epicenter of “narco-terrorism” with President Trump threatening military intervention to “dismantle the drug cartels.”

As Mexico in May 5th,1862 combated French imperialistic threats in the Battle of Puebla, so too in 2026 we must unite to stop Trump's threats of military intervention.
