This Arts Activate community-based event is the beginning of something quite beautiful. After more than 300 contact hours with local senior musicians who play mariachi music, g’beda wanted to explore the intersections between Blues, Bolero and Soul music. This concert includes 3 music groups, a dance group, and a solo artist-g’beda. They will all be in rare form! Each group has been challenged to present 3 boleros, a blues song and a soul song. It promises to be a fun and nostalgic afternoon. I hope you’ll join us!
