The Jazz Exchange is proud to bring live jazz to El Paso in 2025 through our "Jazz Around Town" Music Series. Partnering with local businesses, we aim to support artists, enrich the city's culture, and create an inviting space for everyone to enjoy live jazz. Join us for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly events at our partner venues. Music enthusiasts, mark your calendars, and musicians, bring your instruments—many shows include jam sessions!

THE GARRISON - EVERY WEDNESDAY 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM Experience live jazz every Wednesday at The Garrison. Drink specials for cocktails on Wednesdays. Don’t miss this weekly downtown jazz tradition!

This event is free, but RSVP to reserve a good seat at the venue. RSVPs will be held for 15 minutes and then released to the public.

The Wingfield Heritage House Museum tells the story of the popular mountain resort town of Ruidoso. The first anniversary celebration includes refreshments, music by local band the 'Doso Dirtbags and the opening of a new exhibit "Fighting the Flames: A History of the Smokey Bear Hotshot Crew." Admission to the museum is free.

Discover the rich depictions of Border culture in Tom Lea's art with Tom Lea Fellow Mariana Riestra Ahumada. With a background in English and writing, she will explore the complex representations of border culture in Tom Lea's literary works.

Her presentation will culminate in a short poetry reading created by her—a creative response that honors Lea’s legacy.

Also, enjoy a special performance by El Paso Opera inspired by Mariana’s presentation while enjoying light bites.
