“Photography Without Borders” — Gulf States Camera Club Council Convention Returns to El Paso for First Time in 25 Years

EL PASO, TX — May 2026 — The Photography Enthusiasts of El Paso (PEEP), the city’s oldest photo and video club, is proud to announce it will host the Gulf States Camera Club Council (GSCCC) 2026 Annual Convention, May 28–30, 2026, at the Doubletree by Hilton in El Paso, Texas. This marks the first time the GSCCC convention has been held in El Paso in over 25 years.

As the local host, PEEP has given this year’s convention the subtitle “Photography Without Borders” (Fotografía Sin Fronteras) — a tribute to El Paso’s unique identity as a binational community where two cultures, two languages, and two countries meet. The theme reflects both the spirit of the gathering and the distinctive character of the Sun City.

About the GSCCC Convention
The Gulf States Camera Club Council (GSCCC) is a regional organization serving camera clubs across the Gulf States region. Its annual convention brings together photography enthusiasts of all skill levels for education, inspiration, and community. The 2026 convention is hosted by PEEP and features nationally recognized speakers, hands-on workshops, photo field trips, and social events.
