Storytime at the library helps build early literacy skills, fosters a love of reading, and encourages social development. Join us for stories, songs, and a simple craft activity in a fun and supportive environment.

UTEP Youth Programs and Camps is offering a series of youth ballet courses this fall. Students will learn the fundamentals of classical ballet while developing proper technique, coordination, and foundational skills. New classes begin in September and October and are held in the evenings on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Courses are designed for children and teens ages 5–17.

UTEP Youth Programs and Camps offers a variety of on-campus activities this fall designed to keep kids engaged, learning and having fun on Saturdays. From building academic skills to developing confidence and exploring new interests, our youth camps provide young campers with exciting opportunities to learn and grow.
Sign your child up for our Fall 2026 one-day youth camps and give them a fun, unique learning experience they’ll enjoy and remember! Camps are offered as either one-day experiences or multi-week programs that meet for four or five sessions through December 12. Programs are available for children ages 6-14, depending on the camp.

Give your child the opportunity to learn, create and explore with UTEP’s Black Rocket online courses! Designed for youth ages 8-14, these engaging courses complement your child’s educational journey while helping them build valuable skills through hands-on, interactive learning.
From technology and game design to digital creativity and more, Black Rocket courses encourage students to think creatively, solve problems and discover new interests in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is exploring a new passion or building on skills they already have, there’s something for everyone this fall. Courses are offered online on Saturdays or weekday evenings, depending on the course, making it easy to find an option that fits your family’s schedule. Courses begin in October.
