Charlize Mercado
Content ManagerCharlize Mercado manages website and marketing content. She also does produces Exit Stage Left and and does On-Air work for KTEP.
Charlize is an Honors Senior at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she is pursuing a Marketing degree with a minor in International Business. She is currently a Disney Programs Representative and is part of the school recruitment team for the El Paso Region. Prior to her transfer to UTEP, she was a student in Mexico, where she designed marketing plans for small businesses.
"My favorite thing is to get to know people's unique stories through interviews... it is such an interesting way to understand the little things that make us human" Charlize says. She is passionate about the power of our voices and using them to tell stories, one of the main reasons she fell in love with public radio. She has been part of the KTEP Team since 2023.
