On this first episode of Border Health Horizons, Dr. Emre Umucu and Dr. Jason Boyle introduce Dr. Shashwati Geed, an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy & Movement Sciences at UTEP; Dr. Geed brings her vast knowledge in neuro-rehabilitation and brain plasticity to illustrate one of her research projects: Tele-CPASS. Tele-CPASS is being researched in hopes of aiding post-stroke victims in having a normal life after such a traumatic event.
