Dr. Richard McCallum, KTEP’s “Tummy Doctor,” is a local gastroenterologist with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He join us to explain why it is crucial for El Pasoans to screen for colon cancer with colonoscopies beginning at age 50. Most screenings are FREE, and can save us from a future of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and possibly death if left untreated and unchecked.
