  • Lisa is a Scottsville native and WKU alum. She has worked in radio as a news reporter and anchor for 18 years. Prior to joining WKU Public Radio, she most recently worked at WHAS in Louisville and WLAC in Nashville. She has received numerous awards from the Associated Press, including Best Reporter in Kentucky. Many of her stories have been heard on NPR.

  • Norbert Miles is Chief Engineer for KTEP and is in charge of all technical aspects for the radio station. He maintains the transmitter on Mount Franklin and also keeps all of the studio equipment running on a daily basis.
  • London, England’s Dr. Keith Pannell created Science Studio in 1987 and has hosted the show for more than thirty years. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pannell provides listeners with a unique insight on the sciences. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UTEP.
  • Native New Yorker, Dr. Russell Chianelli, has been co-host of the show for a number of years. This is his first broadcasting gig. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY, and numerous publications, he is more than qualified to guide us through the world of science. Chianelli is Director of the Materials Research and Technology Institute at the University of Texas at El Paso, and Professor of Chemistry, Materials and Environmental Sciences.
  • Trey Graham edits and produces arts and entertainment content for NPR's Digital Media division, where among other things he's helped launch the Monkey See pop-culture blog and NPR's expanded Web-only movies coverage. He also helps manage the Web presence for Fresh Air from WHYY.
