Bill Neal on the Plight of Captive Orcas

Greg and Tom have a conversation with author and producer Bill Neal. He discusses how he was always an animal lover but got more interested in the issues after writing his first novel. He is the producer of the Long Gone Wild documentary. Bill discusses the plight of captive orcas and updates listeners on where we are after the acclaimed documentary Blackfish brought attention to the issue of captive whales.

The film Long Gone Wild centers on five primary areas: the Blackfish Effect, the case against captivity, Orcas as sentient animals, the Whale Sanctuary Project and the ominous threat to orcas posed by Russia and China. The documentary is available on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms.
