February 24, 2023 marked the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Since the invasion, vegan advocates in Ukraine have been working diligently to provide more than 80,000 vegan meals for Ukrainian soldiers, volunteers, and those displaced by the war. On ACT Radio, Liz and Tom talk with Tamara Human, Founder of Every Animal, about how the war has only strengthened the organization’s resolve to feed the hungry, engage in community outreach on veganism, and help rescue animals.
Every Animalis a vegan animal rights organization in Ukraine dedicated to spreading the vegan message and creating a vegan movement. The NGO was founded in 2019 and promotes veganism with vegan courses, educational events, street actions, and outreach.
