National Association of Women in Construction

In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, Richard Dayoub, from Thunderbird Management, is joined in the studio by Karen Edmonston and Celia Veloz, President and Secretary from the National Association of Women in Construction, also known as NAWIK to talk about the work that they do in the organization, challenges that women may face in the industry, and how to be a member.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIK) was founded in 1978 by a group of women in the construction industry who wanted to make a change in the area and better represent the interests of women in the industry. This organization offers members education, support and networking to advance their careers in construction, build their technical skills, and become more efficient in leadership.
