County Commissioner Jackie Butler

In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes successor to Carlos Leon, County Commissioner Jackie Butler to share some important updates and projects she has been overseeing as the public servant for Precinct 1. She shares how her upbringing in Montana Vista, and her principles have guided the standards she holds public representatives against. The County Commissioner also shares 2 important projects pertaining to the county’s infrastructure that her office has been working on: water and electric infrastructure.

Commissioner Butler is the successor for County Commissioner Carlos Leon, who retired in 2024. Jackie Butler joined Leon before his retirement as his Senior Policy Advisor in Precinct 1; In the past she has also done work as the US Director for BIO El Paso-Juarez, Senior Director of Operations for the Medical Center of The Americas Foundation and as Vice President of Government Relations for the El Paso Chamber of Commerce.
