Shery Welsh: Frontiers & the UTEP Aerospace Center

On this episode of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub, from Thunderbird Management, welcomes back to the KTEP studios Dr. Shery Welsh to talk about her first year after moving into the new Aerospace Building inside the UTEP campus.

Dr. Shery Welsh talks about how she has put into practice her 37 years of previous experience in the Department of Defense while directing the Aerospace Center. She will also explain a central part of the center, their research pillars, the most recent training programs, and the Space Technologies & AI Driven Research (STAR) Frontier and the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Frontier.

Dr. Shery Welsh has had a 37-year career as an engineer, scientist, executive leading science and technology, research, and development programs for the Department of Defense.
