City Development Series: Roberto Ransom

In this special edition of El Paso Prime Time, we are kicking off the Economic Development Series. Host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes the Economic Director for the County of El Paso, Roberto Ransom, to talk about how he started honing his skills in economic development, how important our border is to nearshoring, and the successes that our city has been achieving, such as the Meta Data Center and work being done to our downtown area.

Director Ransom started his career as an intern in the El Paso - Juarez world trade center and escalated to interim director in the same organization. Roberto was also invited to work for Mexican Affairs and Trade by Bill Richardson, and then worked for the New Mexico - Chihuahua Coalition. Roberto currently serves as the Director for Economic Development for the County of El Paso.
