The Armored Fist of the American Army

For this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub welcomes Colonel Douglas "Doug" Baker, Commander of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, and his team: Executive Officer Major Hampson, and Operations Officer Major Mahood. They will be discussing the mission of the 2nd Armored Brigade and why they are recognized as the "iron brigade". They also speak about their recent mission on the southwestern border that conveyed a partnership with the border patrol to keep the borders safe from drugs, and they also addressed the belief that the army is involved with immigration riots.

The 2nd Armored Brigade is one of 3 brigades deployed on the southwestern border to protect it from the drug market. This mission has identified 1000 drug crossings in the last 6 months and has ranked 99% or better rate on keeping drugs from entering the country.
