On this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes the Founding Artistic Director of the El Paso Choral Society, Prentice Loftin, to the KTEP studios. Mr. Loftin talks about his extensive career in music that started when he was 15 years old, and the circumstances that led him to found the El Paso Opera back in 1993; Prentice also talks about his present days leading the El Paso Choral Society. Lastly, they will discuss the choral orchestral sacred works, and a special event set to happen on April 12th with live orchestra and choir at the St. Patrick's Church in El Paso.
Prentice Loftin is a native El Pasoan, and has founded the El Paso Opera; he was also the Founding Conductor for the El Paso Chamber Choir, founded the El Paso Conservatory music and is the Founding Artistic Director for the El Paso Choral Society, where he is currently directing.
