For this episode of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub welcomes Executive Director Kimberly Calkins and Alfred Olivas, STEAM Curriculum & Outreach Programs Regional Science and Engineering Fair Director, for a trip down memory lane about the former location of the organization, the impact that led to their comeback as a mobile museum, and the upcoming El Paso Giving Day.
INSIGHTS: El Paso Science Center was founded in 1979 to offer interactive science education experiences to the Border Region. Since 2017, INSIGHTS has been 100% mobile to better serve the community with STEAM content. Their educational programs are designed to provide learning experiences in unexpected places throughout the region, meeting the community where they are.
