Coach Andrea Palafox of the UTEP Women's Rifle Team and team members Paige Hildebrandt and Xan Keel join Host Louie Saenz to discuss their backgrounds, what it takes to be in the Olympic Games, and their team's success.

Coach Andrea Palafox, who still competes professionally, earned All-American honors in air rifle in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, and smallbore in 2012. She helped the Miners finish fifth as a team at the 2012 NCAA Championships, the best showing in school history. She has coached for several years for the International Shooting Coach Online program, and more recently worked with CODE Guanajuato (Sports Commission of the State of Guanajuato). She is also a partner of the Shootwatch app, a worldwide training program and has a Level I coach certification by the National Rifle Association (NRA). Furthermore, she is currently ranked #1 in smallbore and #2 in air rifle in Mexico.

Louie Saenz has been in the news broadcasting business for over thirty years. He has been a News Anchor and Reporter for KDBC-TV, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM and KTSM-TV in El Paso. Saenz earned a degree in Journalism from NMSU, and a Masters in Communication from UTEP. He is currently the News & Public Affairs Director for KTEP-FM, and a lecturer in the Communication Department. He is also the host of Focus on Campus and co-host on El Paso Prime Time.
Sam Cassiano is a native Californian who spent his formative years in the Bay Area. An army brat, his family toured Germany and Japan before settling in El Paso in 1973. Initially a Communications Major at UTEP, a radio internship at KPAS-FM 94, the PASS launched his broadcasting career. He can be heard as the morning news anchor on KTEP during NPR's Morning Edition, and Friday evenings at 10 pm as the host of Friday Night Blues.
