Frontera Frequencies: Coming Back Home

In this week's episode of Frontera Frequencies, hosts Roberto Avant-Mier and Alejandra Seanez return for the second season with a selection of songs centered on the theme of return and coming home.

This conversation highlights tracks such as Leon Bridges' "Coming Home," Carly Rae Jepsen's "The Loneliest Time," and Iron & Wine's "This Must Be the Place." Together, the hosts showcase a wide diversity of musical genres in a creative way. Avant-Mier presents songs like Tommy Guerrero's "Zapata's Boots" framed as a "return" based on the album title, while Ale features tracks such as Ana Gabriel's "Volver, Volver," chosen for their lyrical meaning.

In the Miner Music Minute segment, student Paulina shares her tastes in alternative music, highlighting songs such as Fugazi's "Afterthought."

This program originally aired on April 03, 2026.
