Garden Critters: The Good The Bad and The Ugly

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Website

On this week’s show, Denise and Jan offer tips on how to control and prevent any small threats to your plants and how to avoid attracting these hazards. We’re currently in a long season of hot and dry weather where all the insects are all out there and these include any diseases, pests, or any small critters that would cause any harm to the plants in your garden. Denise will also provide more updates and information on the El Paso County Master Gardeners programs that will be available for anyone to attend.

The number one activity in the US is gardening and the number one volunteer gardening program is the Master Gardener program. The El Paso Master Gardeners' experience is to learn about plants and for everyone to enjoy sharing their knowledge with people in the community in various ways. The Master Gardeners are members of the local community who take an active interest in their lawns, trees, shrubs, herbs, flowers, and gardens.
