On this week’s show, Denise, John, and Jan offer tips on applying mulch and rock landscaping within your garden, including the positives and negatives that come with it. Mulch and rock landscaping are useful for your garden since they keep your soil moisturized and weed-free, leaving your plants and soil healthy and protected. Denise will also provide more updates and information on the El Paso County Master Gardeners programs that will be available for anyone to attend.
The El Paso Master Gardeners Program offers flexible necessary means to maintain a responsive organization throughout the state. The program volunteers with other people, spreading their interest, gaining horticultural training,12-week and giving back to their communities as well. The program is accepting applications for their 12-week training program, going over lawn care, tree pruning, and identification of plant pests.
