Host Charles Horak welcomes local author and UTEP professor Sherry Lewis to discuss her latest novel Wilder's Way: A Noir Western in the Style of Billy Wilder.

Local author and UTEP professor Sherry Lewis has studied the films of Billy Wilder, taught them, and even written a book on the important classic film director. Last Year she went further and wrote a Western novel that takes inspiration from Wilder and his films: Wilder's Way: A Noir Western in the Style of Billy Wilder

The quiet town of Wilder's Way, Texas, is thrown into chaos when a stranger comes to town, seeming to set off not one but two grizzly murders. Now the untrained sheriff must test his skills and develop new ones to solve the murders. While some of the names may seem familiar, the story is a new homage to the great film director, Billy Wilder.
