Host Charles Horak welcomes Plaza Classic Film Festival Program Director Doug Pullen to discuss this summer’s Classic Film Line-up. Harry Potter, A classic Road to Film, To Catch A Thief and Gremlins. Academy Award winner Sissy Space will appear with Coal Miner’s Daughter. July 18 thru July 28th at the Plaza Theater in downtown El Paso.

Since 2004, Charles Horak has been the host of the long-running radio program, On Film, creating more than 1,000 programs dedicated to film reviews, filmmaker interviews and discussions of cinema history and industry advancement. He is a voting member of the Critics Choice Association and board member of the Texas Archive of the Moving Image.

Sam Cassiano

Sam Cassiano is a native Californian who spent his formative years in the Bay Area. An army brat, his family toured Germany and Japan before settling in El Paso in 1973. Initially a Communications Major at UTEP, a radio internship at KPAS-FM 94, the PASS launched his broadcasting career. He can be heard as the morning news anchor on KTEP during NPR's Morning Edition, and Friday evenings at 10 pm as the host of Friday Night Blues.
