Dr. Michael Klein

On this week’s episode of Science Studio, Dr. Keith Pannell sits down with Dr. Michael Klein to discuss his work on theoretical and computational methods to study properties of molecules.

Dr. Michael Klein is in the depaetment of chemistry at Temple University. The main focus of his research is studying the properties of different kinds of molecules, ranging from something small like water to something as large as lipid bilayers. He studies these molecules using computational methodologies and computer simulations that he collaborated to develope.

London, England’s Dr. Keith Pannell created Science Studio in 1987 and has hosted the show for more than thirty years. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pannell provides listeners with a unique insight on the sciences. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UTEP.
Olivia Williams is a volunteer at KTEP who is a Board Operator for Fresh Air once a week. She is also a producer at KTEP, editing Science Studio for the station.
