Marty Skovlund Jr. and Joe Kent join the Book Club to speak about a true story based on Shannon Kent, who is Joe Kent’s Wife. They bring on to share their experience serving in the military and how they both met Shannon. Shannon was a wonderful special operator and trailblazer who hunted many high value targets, as well as a wonderful mother and wife. Out of the 1.3 active duty service members in the United States Military, there are only a small number of operators who get to be chosen, Shannon was one of them, as well as the first woman to ever serve at that level. Shannon served as a Navy cryptologic technician who was responsible for signals intelligence and electronic warfare.
