UTEP Faculty Profiles
Dr. Greenbaum is currently the Director for the UTEP Biodiversity Collections and Professor of Biological Sciences and Environmental Science.

In this episode of We Are UT El Paso, Professor Eli Greenbaum narrates the life story of a young man that once read the difference between a legless lizard and a snake, and is now a Professor of Biological Sciences and also the Director for the Biodiversity Collection in the University of Texas at El Paso. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, obtaining a MA in Louisiana and now teaching Biological Sciences, Eli shares several of his research finds and how his interest for these creatures has taken him through exotic places like Africa where he has traveled to collect samples for the campus collection.

Dr. Greenbaum is currently the Director for the UTEP Biodiversity Collections and Professor of Biological Sciences and Environmental Science.
