I really thought the world was mine” - an authoritarian kid-teacher dreaming of becoming an adult-teacher and with the same drive that motivated her to put together her little childhood ‘pizarron’, Professor Guillermina is now a key component to shaping the next generation for what is considered the future of healthcare practitioners; In this edition of We Are UT El Paso, Professor Solis talks all about her desire to be a teacher who then became a nurse who is constantly seeking to better her education, no matter the time she has to spend inside a classroom.

The College of Nursing at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), views nursing as an innovative, professional service discipline grounded in the arts, sciences, humanities, nursing theories, patient care technologies, and the application of knowledge obtained through scientifically based inquiry.
