On this week’s episode of We Are UT El Paso, Dr. Keith Pannell sits down with Dr. Mahesh Narayan the Biochemistry Division Chair at UTEP, to discuss his life and how his passions lead him to The University of Texas at El Paso.
Dr. Mahesh Narayan is the Biochemistry Division Chair as well as a professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. The work in Dr. Narayan’s laboratory focuses on mitigating oxidative stress induced by neurotoxins. His long-term goal is to bring to clinical trials therapeutics that address neurodegeneration not only for rescuing behavioral plasticity, but also prevention of related neuropathies.
