Candice Reyes and KTEP's Daisy Morales welcome the Olivas brothers to October's 23rd Morning Jazz for The Jazz Exchange Fall Series. Marty and Jimmy Olivas are local jazz icons in Sun City through music and also through Oliva's Music, a music shop that supports starting musicians.
Today's conversation is about how the brothers have built a community in their own way: Marty as a trumpeter, Jimmy as a saxophonist and owner of Oliva's shop, and both as educators and avid musicians in the local jazz scene.
