Mendoza holds a degree in Theology from The Cornerstone Seminary (Vallejo, Ca). A veteran of the non-profit sector, he worked in gang prevention and residential and mentoring programs. His path has included being the principal of a charter high school, bartending, and is currently the Lead Forensic Interviewer at a Child Advocacy Center. In his spare time, he practices classical guitar and shares insights from his reading journey on social media.
