This week Keith Pannell talks with distinguished professor Oscar Macchioni from the Music Department at UTEP. A native of Argentina, Oscar grew up in a home that didn't have a piano and now own's at least two pianos. In this conversation he discusses how he became interested in music and recalls his first recital.
Professor Macchioni studied music for two years in Poland at the Academy of Music in Kraków before coming the U.S. He is a Steinway Artist, a fan of Chopin and considers himself a lifelong learner. In this program we listen to two pieces as performed by Mr. Macchioni.
