County Attorney Christina Sanchez

In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub welcomes newly elected County Attorney Christina Sanchez to the KTEP studios. She discusses her work on several issues including the Gateway Hotel in Downtown El Paso, High Speed Pursuits in the county and the policies and procedures of police departments. Furthermore, she discusses her role along the border as immigration policies change and how we can prepare as a community.

Christina Sanchez is a graduate of Burges High School, George Washington University and Texas Tech University School of Law. Prior to law school she worked as a grant writer for National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund in Los Angeles. She is a veteran of the El Paso County Attorney’s Office, where she previously held the position of Senior Division Chief for the Commissioners Court and Public Works Unit. Her previous elected position was on the El Paso Community College Board of Trustees.
